Immortal Quasiparticles – Quantum Teleportation

Imagine a few decades from now the technology involving immortal quantum particles. Will this be technology that questions the the second law of thermodynamics?

Imagine a world where advanced technology is hidden from the public domain. Once in a while some of these technologies are made public. Like the discovery of immortal particles. That's the world you live in. And maybe you or your children, grandchildren will be able to use advanced technology of Re-Infinity.

Scientists have found that quasiparticles in quantum systems could be effectively immortal
That doesn't mean they don't decay, which is reassuring. But once these quasiparticles have decayed, they are able to reorganise themselves back into existence, possibly ad infinitum.
This seemingly flies right in the face of the second law of thermodynamics, which asserts that entropy in an isolated system can only move in an increasing direction: things can only break down, not build back up again.
Quasiparticles aren't particles the way we typically think of them, like electrons and quarks. Rather, they're the disturbances or excitations in a solid caused by electrical or magnetic forces that, collectively, behave like particles.

Medi Pod

In the movie Elysium they show a medical device that can regenerate cells and heal all kinds of medical issues of the human body. Only the chosen few, such as Elite and wealthy persons have access to this healing pod device. Besides being a very well done movie that is showing us a possible future timeline Elysium also shows us the technology of Re-Infinity. Are we going into a future timeline where it's possible to become immortal by means of advanced technology? Based on immortal quasiparticles that are being steered into a process to regenerate the human body? Or is this technology already available for those who can afford it? The ability of re-infinity.

Elysium (2013)
In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth.
Secretary Delacourt, a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in by any means they can. When unlucky Max is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that, if successful, will not only save his life but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

Technology for Time Machines?

A few days ago there was news about a Portable Particle Accelerator. It is now possible to build a particle accelerator the the size of a silicon chip. Combine this technology with the immortal quasiparticles and perhaps these can be the fundament of a time machine? A device that can control the quasi particles into a certain arrangement from a certain time. And maybe some time crystals will be added to the mix.

In 2019 scientists reported that they have achieved Chip-to-chip quantum teleportation and multi-photon entanglement in silicon. Of course this is not the Star Trek teleportation device kind of strange thing. The news is still exciting. The first steps of teleportation have been made. Imagine this technology in unison with the immortal quasiparticles and the portable particle accelerator. Science fiction television shows and movies can be science fact, sometimes.

Chip-to-chip quantum teleportation
Here, we report the demonstration of chip-to-chip quantum teleportation and genuine multipartite entanglement, the core functionalities in quantum technologies, on silicon-photonic circuitry. Four single photons with high purity and indistinguishablity are produced in an array of microresonator sources, without requiring any spectral filtering. Up to four qubits are processed in a reprogrammable linear-optic quantum circuit that facilitates Bell projection and fusion operation.

The question remains: is time travel possible? And if so: when would you go to?

Happy New Year 2020.
