Pine Trees are wonderful.
It's a shame some humans cut them down for Christmas decoration and after that, they throw the tree away.

Many people like to decorate the Pine Trees with light and shiny balls, during Christmas holidays.
May be because it's a memory from the ancestors of humans. The ancestors who were able to see the glow around the tree. Some call it: Aura.
One day we all will re-member.

DNA duplication linked to the origin and evolution of pine trees and their relatives
A new study shows that such duplication events have been vitally important throughout the evolutionary history of gymnosperms, a diverse group of seed plants that includes pines, cypresses, sequoias, ginkgos and cycads. Published today in Nature Plants, the research indicates that a genome duplication in the ancestor of modern gymnosperms might have directly contributed to the origin of the group over 350 million years ago.
